Budget 6.38mm laminate with an unfinished cut edge. For framed glazing where the edge is hidden. About 16 kg per m².
6.38mm clear laminated glass supplied clean cut. Same glass as our standard 6.38mm laminate — two sheets bonded either side of a clear interlayer, holding together if broken — but without any edge finishing, which is why it is cheaper.
Clean cut means the edge is left exactly as the machine cuts it — the two glass sheets and the interlayer are cut through in one pass and nothing is done to the edge afterwards. It is not seamed, arrised or polished, and it cannot be polished later. That makes it cheaper, and it is the right choice when the edge is going into a frame, a channel or a rebate where nobody will see or touch it. If any edge will be exposed or handled, order the standard version of this glass instead and add polished edges.

HOW YOUR GLASS IS HANDLED
Cut-to-size glass does not survive being treated as ordinary freight, so we deliver it ourselves rather than handing it to a general courier.

- Your driver checks the order again with you on delivery.
- All glass meets Australian Standards.
Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.
ON DELIVERY DAY
Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
