19mmClear Glass Cut to Size

19mm Clear Glass cut to size from $953/m². A 600 × 900mm piece with polished edges is $791.62 ($1,036.78 toughened), delivered across Melbourne, inner Geelong and the Sydney region.

Our heaviest structural glass. Frameless balustrades, glass floors, structural fins and very large tabletops. About 47.5 kg per m².

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
Round toughened glass must be polished, so a round toughened piece is always priced with polished edges.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.
All 4 corners are ground to a small 2mm radius for a smoother feel. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops. Default radius is 2mm. Need a larger radius (up to 10mm)? Write it in the order notes at checkout.

Description

19mm clear float glass. The heaviest glass we cut, and a genuinely structural material rather than a glazing one.

Frameless balustrades, glass floors and treads, structural fins, and very large unsupported tabletops. At 19mm a panel can carry load and span distances that would need a frame in any thinner glass.

Weight is about 47.5 kg per m², so even a modest panel needs two or three people and proper lifting equipment. Delivery, access and handling matter as much as the glass here — tell us about stairs, gates and tight corners when you order. Virtually every application at this thickness must be toughened under AS 1288, and toughened glass cannot be cut, drilled or edge-worked afterwards, so every dimension and hole has to be final before it goes into the furnace.

Cut to your exact measurements. If your job needs holes, notches or a shape other than a rectangle or circle, email us with a drawing and we will quote it by hand.

HOW YOUR GLASS IS HANDLED

  • All glass meets Australian Standards.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
