Description

10mm Narrowline reeded glass — fine vertical fluting rolled into one face. Compared with traditional wide-flute reeded glass, the narrow spacing gives more privacy, a cleaner contemporary look, and works far better on small panels where a wide reed would only fit two or three ridges.

Currently one of the most requested finishes for kitchen and joinery cabinet doors, and equally at home in shower screens, internal partitions, wardrobe fronts and shopfronts.

The reeds run one way only — tell us whether they should follow the height or the width of your panel. For cabinet doors, vertical is almost always what you want.

About 25 kg per m². For anything visible, consider the low iron version: standard glass concentrates its green tint in each ridge, which reads as faint green striping in strong light. Any panel fitted in a door, beside a door, in a bathroom, or below 500mm from floor level must be safety glass under AS 1288. Specify toughening when you order — toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled afterwards.

Shipping and Delivery

Free delivery across Melbourne

Every order ships free across Melbourne, with no minimum spend. Enter your measurements online and the price appears on the screen straight away.

HOW YOUR GLASS IS HANDLED

Cut-to-size glass does not survive being treated as ordinary freight, so we deliver it ourselves rather than handing it to a general courier.

  • Every panel is inspected before it leaves us.
  • Your driver checks the order again with you on delivery.
  • All glass meets Australian Standards.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
