6mm Narrowline Reeded Glass cut to size from $219/m². A 600 × 900mm piece with polished edges is $206.26 ($215.44 toughened), delivered across Melbourne, inner Geelong and the Sydney region.

Fine vertical fluting rolled into one face. Currently one of the most requested finishes for kitchen and joinery cabinet doors. About 15 kg per m². The ribs are about 10mm apart. The ribs run along the length you enter. For upright ribs, enter the height of the fitted panel as the length, even in a wide window.

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
The reeds run along the length. For upright reeds, enter the height (up and down) as the length.
Round toughened glass must be polished, so a round toughened piece is always priced with polished edges.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

6mm Narrowline reeded glass — fine vertical fluting rolled into one face. Compared with traditional wide-flute reeded glass, the narrow spacing gives more privacy, a cleaner contemporary look, and works far better on small panels where a wide reed would only fit two or three ridges.

Currently one of the most requested finishes for kitchen and joinery cabinet doors, and equally at home in shower screens, internal partitions, wardrobe fronts and shopfronts.

The reeds run one way only: along the length you enter. For upright reeds, enter the height of the fitted panel (up and down) as the length and the width (left to right) as the width, even if the panel is wider than it is tall.

About 15 kg per m². For anything visible, consider the low iron version: standard glass concentrates its green tint in each ridge, which reads as faint green striping in strong light. Any panel fitted in a door, beside a door, in a bathroom, or below 500mm from floor level must be safety glass under AS 1288. Specify toughening when you order — toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled afterwards.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
