Typically 4mm glass, a 12mm sealed cavity and 4mm glass. The entry unit thickness and the usual retrofit for a standard residential window frame. Cannot be cut or drilled after manufacture.

Melbourne and Geelong delivery only — this glass is not available for Sydney delivery yet.

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

20mm double glazed unit, made to your measurements. Typically 4mm glass, a 12mm sealed cavity and 4mm glass.

The cavity does the work: it slows heat transfer in both directions, so rooms stay warmer in winter and cooler in summer, and it cuts outside noise. The entry-level unit thickness and the usual retrofit for a standard residential window frame.

Sealed at manufacture and impossible to cut, drill or modify afterwards, so measurements must be right first time. The unit has to fit your frame rebate with correct clearance — your window supplier or glazier can confirm sight size and rebate depth.

Replacing a failed unit? Fogging or moisture between the panes means the perimeter seal has gone and the unit needs replacing, not repairing.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
