24mmDouble Glazed Unit Cut to Size

24mm Double Glazed Unit cut to size from $345/m². A 600 × 900mm piece with edges finished is $235.30, delivered across Melbourne, inner Geelong and the Sydney region. About 60 kg per m².

A wider cavity or thicker panes for better thermal and acoustic performance. Choose 24mm for bedrooms facing a road or west-facing living areas. Needs a deeper frame rebate than a 20mm unit.

Melbourne and Geelong delivery only — this glass is not available for Sydney delivery yet.

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.
All 4 corners are ground to a small 2mm radius for a smoother feel. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops. Default radius is 2mm. Need a larger radius (up to 10mm)? Write it in the order notes at checkout.

Description

24mm double glazed unit, made to your measurements. The wider cavity or thicker panes give better thermal and acoustic performance than a 20mm unit.

Choose 24mm where comfort or noise matters most: bedrooms facing a road, west-facing living areas, or any room you are actively trying to make quieter and more stable in temperature. It needs a deeper frame rebate than a 20mm unit, so check your frame will take it before ordering.

Sealed at manufacture — cannot be cut, drilled or altered afterwards. Confirm sight size and rebate depth with your glazier or window supplier before you order.

Fogging between the panes on an existing unit means a failed seal; the unit needs replacing rather than repairing.

HOW YOUR GLASS IS HANDLED

  • All glass meets Australian Standards.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
