Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
Round toughened glass must be polished, so a round toughened piece is always priced with polished edges.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

5mm grey tinted float glass. The tint runs through the body of the glass rather than sitting on the surface, so it cannot scratch off or fade. It cuts glare and solar heat gain while keeping a neutral, uncoloured view out.

The in-between weight. Heavier and flatter than 4mm without the cost or weight of 6mm — cabinet doors, small tabletops, shelving and window replacement where 4mm feels too light.

Tint deepens with thickness, so if you are matching an existing panel tell us what thickness you already have. Weight is about 12.5 kg per m². Any panel fitted in a door, beside a door, in a bathroom, or below 500mm from floor level must be safety glass under AS 1288. Specify toughening when you order — toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled afterwards.

Cut to your exact measurements. Choose polished edges wherever the edge will be visible or handled.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
