Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
Round toughened glass must be polished, so a round toughened piece is always priced with polished edges.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

Description

5mm Satinlite patterned glass. A fine, close, even texture that gives the highest privacy in our patterned range — light passes through freely but shapes behind it are almost completely obscured.

The default choice for bathroom and toilet windows, ensuites and any internal panel where privacy is the point rather than decoration. Also used in doors and partitions for a clean contemporary look.

Often confused with frosted glass. The difference is that this privacy comes from a texture rolled into the glass at manufacture, so it cannot scratch off, wear or become patchy. If you want permanence, patterned beats frosted.

The pattern sits on one face — in a bathroom, fit the smooth side toward the wet area. About 12.5 kg per m². Any panel fitted in a door, beside a door, in a bathroom, or below 500mm from floor level must be safety glass under AS 1288. Specify toughening when you order — toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled afterwards.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
