Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

6mm Low-E grey glass, supplied toughened as standard. This one is only made as a toughened product, so there is no untoughened option and no toughening surcharge — the price you see already includes it.

It pairs a grey body tint with a Low-E coating, so it cuts glare and solar heat far harder than either would alone. West-facing windows, sunrooms, and glazing over stairwells and voids that overheat in the afternoon.

Low-E and solar control glass carries a microscopically thin metal coating on one face. The coating faces a specific direction depending on whether you are chasing winter warmth or summer shade, so tell us which side of the opening it is going in and which problem you are solving. It is a soft surface: it should not be cleaned with abrasives or scrapers, and it is not suitable where the coated face will be handled or touched regularly.

Because it is toughened, every dimension, hole and cut-out has to be final before it is made — toughened glass cannot be cut, drilled or edge-worked afterwards. Weight is about 15 kg per m².

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
