Laminated safety glass with a Low-E coating. Holds together when broken, cuts heat and cuts noise. About 16 kg per m².

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

6.58mm Low-E grey laminated glass. Three jobs in one panel: it holds together if broken, it cuts heat moving through the glass, and the interlayer takes a useful bite out of noise.

The coating carries a grey tint that also knocks down glare. Suited to external windows and doors, overhead and sloped glazing, and any opening that has to be safety glass and also has a comfort problem.

Low-E and solar control glass carries a microscopically thin metal coating on one face. The coating faces a specific direction depending on whether you are chasing winter warmth or summer shade, so tell us which side of the opening it is going in and which problem you are solving. It is a soft surface: it should not be cleaned with abrasives or scrapers, and it is not suitable where the coated face will be handled or touched regularly.

The interlayer blocks almost all UV, so it slows fading of floors and furniture. It can be cut and edge-worked but not toughened after lamination. Weight is about 16 kg per m².

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
