6mm Soltech Grey Glass Cut to Size

6mm Soltech Grey Glass cut to size from $447/m². A 600 × 900mm piece with polished edges is $329.38 ($347.20 toughened), delivered across Melbourne, inner Geelong and the Sydney region.

High performance grey solar control glass. Full-height west glazing, glass roofs and facades. About 15 kg per m².

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.
Round toughened glass must be polished, so a round toughened piece is always priced with polished edges.
All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.
All 4 corners are ground to a small 2mm radius for a smoother feel. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops. Default radius is 2mm. Need a larger radius (up to 10mm)? Write it in the order notes at checkout.

Description

6mm Soltech grey. A high performance solar control glass — the step above a standard grey tint or a basic Low-E when the heat load is the main problem and a double glazed unit is not an option.

Full-height west glazing, glass roofs and conservatories, and commercial facades where the specification calls for a specific shading coefficient.

It reads as a deeper, slightly more reflective grey than a plain body tint. If you are matching it into an existing run of glazing it is worth seeing a sample first. Weight is about 15 kg per m². Any panel fitted in a door, beside a door, in a bathroom, or below 500mm from floor level must be safety glass under AS 1288.

Cut to your exact measurements. Choose polished edges wherever the edge will be visible or handled.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
