6mm Standard Silver Mirror cut to size from $150/m². A 600 × 900mm piece with polished edges is $160.00, delivered across Melbourne, inner Geelong and the Sydney region.

The heavier mirror weight, for full-height wall mirrors and any panel over about 1200mm where 4mm would flex. About 15 kg per m².

Sizes have a tolerance of ±2mm. If the glass goes into a frame, recess or opening, enter a size 2–3mm smaller than the space so it fits.

Default bevel width is 20mm. Need a different width? Write it in the order notes at checkout.

All 4 corners: the sharp point on each corner is ground off so it won’t catch skin or clothing and is less likely to chip. The glass still looks square. Recommended for table tops.

When to choose 6mm

  • Full walls, gyms and dance studios: big panels stay flat, so the reflection is true.
  • Large feature mirrors leaning on the floor or hung on a cleat.
  • Anything over about 1200 × 1800mm. For smaller bathroom and wardrobe mirrors, 4mm silver mirror is lighter and cheaper.

6mm mirror weighs about 15 kg per m², so a 1200 × 2000mm panel is about 36 kg. Two people are needed to carry and fit it.

Fixing and safety

Fix with mirror-safe neutral cure silicone in vertical strips and a J-channel or clips along the bottom. In a gym or anywhere a mirror could be knocked, ask us about safety-backed mirror, or consider a toughened bronze or grey mirror.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
