Description

17.52mm toughened laminated glass: two 8mm toughened sheets around a 1.52mm interlayer. Both toughened and laminated, so it resists impact and, if it does break, the interlayer holds the fragments together and the barrier stays standing.

Larger balustrade spans, frameless pool fencing and commercial barriers where 13.52mm will not meet the span.

This is the specification used for structural glass barriers. Every dimension, hole and cut-out must be confirmed at order time — nothing can be altered after toughening. At roughly 43.8 kg per m² these are heavy panels; confirm site access and lifting before ordering.

Balustrades and pool fencing are covered by AS 1288 and Victorian building regulations. Use a licensed glazier.

Shipping and Delivery

Free delivery across Melbourne

Every order ships free across Melbourne, with no minimum spend. Enter your measurements online and the price appears on the screen straight away.

HOW YOUR GLASS IS HANDLED

Cut-to-size glass does not survive being treated as ordinary freight, so we deliver it ourselves rather than handing it to a general courier.

  • Every panel is inspected before it leaves us.
  • Your driver checks the order again with you on delivery.
  • All glass meets Australian Standards.

Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.

ON DELIVERY DAY

Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
