5MM GLASS TABLE PROTECTOR
Clear toughened glass cut to the size of your table, to protect the timber from scratches, spills and heat marks. Polished edges and rounded safety corners as standard. 5mm, about 12.5 kg per m².
A clear glass top cut to the exact size of your table, so the timber underneath is protected from scratches, spills, hot plates and pen marks, and the wood still shows through.
5mm is a good middle ground for desks and smaller dining tables. About 12.5 kg per m².

How to measure
Measure the top of your table, then take about 10mm off each side so the glass sits just inside the edge. For example, a 1520 × 920mm table usually takes a 1500 × 900mm glass. For a round table, enter the diameter and choose Round.
Which thickness?
4mm for desks, side tables and dressing tables. 5mm for desks and smaller dining tables. 6mm for dining tables and anything that gets heavy use. Not sure? 6mm is the safe choice.
Tips
Put small clear rubber bumpers under the glass so it does not slide and air can circulate over the timber. Toughened glass cannot be cut after it is made, so double-check your size before ordering.

- All glass meets Australian Standards.
Please check your glass before signing. If anything has been damaged in transit, tell the driver at the point of delivery and we will arrange a remake.
ON DELIVERY DAY
Someone needs to be on site to receive and check the order. Larger and thicker panels can be heavy enough to need two people to move safely. If you are unsure about the weight of your panel, ask us before delivery day.
